A Ten Key Rooted Story

The Pub Remodel That Gave Rose Creek Members Somewhere New to Gather

Edmond, Oklahoma

Rose Creek Country Club knew this underused room had the potential to become something far more memorable. The vision was to create a warm, lively English pub that felt distinct from the club’s other dining amenities, a place where members could settle in, stay awhile, and enjoy a completely different kind of atmosphere.

Rose Creek Country Club reflects on the communication, clarity, and shared vision that made Fox Valley Pub one of its smoothest and most rewarding projects to date.

“We wanted to create something a little more casual, more fun, a little more lively.”

Rose Creek wasn’t looking for another dining venue or a minor room refresh. The club already had polished, elevated concepts in place and now wanted something with a different kind of energy, an amenity that felt more spirited than its existing spaces. From the start, the goal was to create a pub members would genuinely want to spend time in, not just pass through on the way to somewhere else.

A club space that was ready for something more

Before construction, the room functioned as Rose Creek’s Kids’ Zone, which was practical enough, but far from the immersive, adult-centered amenity the club had in mind.

The existing space served a purpose, but not the one Rose Creek needed most. Tucked inside one of the club’s busiest areas, the former Kids’ Zone lacked the atmosphere, identity, and layout to encourage members to linger. It was functional, simple, and easy to overlook.

But what Rose Creek specializes in is creating experiences that take members out of the pace of everyday life, even if only for an hour. They wanted a new kind of destination inside the club,  something more casual, more social, and far more transportive than what was there before. The square footage was already available. It just needed the right vision behind it.

A project this specific needed the right team behind it

Rose Creek’s leadership had been through enough renovations to know that the hardest part is rarely the idea itself. It is the uncertainty that comes with it, not knowing what delays are coming, where budgets will shift, or whether the original concept will survive once construction begins. Fox Valley was too intentional a project for any of that to be left vague.

That is why clear communication mattered from the start. Rose Creek wanted a team that could explain the process, flag every surprise as it happened, and keep the project moving without the confusion that so often makes renovations feel far more difficult than they need to. Just as importantly, they needed people who could understand a highly specific vision and not dilute it along the way.

The design that made the vision feel real

Ten Key’s renderings, floor plans, and mood boards gave Rose Creek a full picture of Fox Valley Pub before construction even began.

That clarity came early. Through digital renderings, floor plans, and carefully built mood boards, Rose Creek was able to see how the pub would actually take shape long before the room was opened up. What had started as an ambitious idea now had walls, finishes, lighting, textures, and a mood that could be evaluated, refined, and trusted.

The goal was to create something layered and transportive without feeling forced. Rich green tones, warm woods, fluted tile, dark metal accents, brass lighting, authentic brickwork, and tailored millwork all worked together to build the intimate English pub atmosphere Rose Creek had imagined. Every finish helped reinforce that sense that members were stepping into somewhere distinct from the rest of the club.

Because the full concept was mapped so clearly upfront, moving into construction felt far less like a leap of faith and far more like watching a plan come to life.

A finished space members instantly embraced

Fox Valley Pub now offers Rose Creek members a warm, layered setting that feels entirely separate from the club’s more formal dining spaces

From Monday night football to post-round drinks, the room now supports the casual, lively experience Rose Creek had hoped to create.

“The genuine surprise on people’s faces when they walk into the space… it’s phenomenal.”

Fox Valley Pub now carries exactly the kind of atmosphere Rose Creek hoped to create from the beginning. Authentic brickwork, rich millwork, deep green accents, antique-inspired furnishings, and layered lighting give the room a sense of warmth and depth that feels both elevated and easy to settle into. It is distinct, memorable, and full of character without losing the comfort members actually want from a place like this.

The response was immediate. Members embraced the space, guests were caught off guard by how immersive it felt, and the club saw dramatic jumps in both membership and revenue. For Rose Creek, Fox Valley became more than a successful remodel. It became proof that a thoughtfully built space can reshape how people use, enjoy, and remember an entire property.

Fox Valley Pub shows what happens when a clear hospitality vision meets a team that can carry it through with care. The result is not just a finished room, but a place Rose Creek members now choose to gather, unwind, and return to.
